The service

whichsidetosit provides estimates of which side of an aircraft is likely to have the better view for a given route, based on the geometric great-circle path, sun position and public geographic data. It is provided free of charge, "as is", for general informational purposes.

No guarantee

Real flights deviate from the great-circle route for air-traffic control, weather and winds, and visibility depends on conditions on the day. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any result and accept no liability for decisions made based on it. whichsidetosit is not affiliated with any airline and does not sell tickets or seats.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape it in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

Changes

We may update the service or these terms at any time. Continued use means you accept the changes.
